OrlandoIX To Bring 50,000 People To Downtown Orlando
Who’s read to NERD out? Orlando is being groomed to become a world class hub for Entertainment Technology, Interactive Media, and the Digital Arts. The Orlando Interactive Experience is happening October 2-6th so clear your calendars and get ready to rally. The focus will be on the innovation and technology developed in Central Florida in gaming, simulation, sound, interactive design and so much more.
Event Producers David Glass and Jill Healey have secured some major Orlando venues including the new Dr. Philips for the Performing Arts Center, Amway Arena, Church Street, and the Orange County Convention Center. These venues are what organizers are starting to call OrlandoIX’s “Digital Village”. Within this mecca of awesomeness you’ll be able to check out the Gaming Arena, Digital Expo, A Start-up Summit, and the yet to be released Headlining Entertainment and Concerts.
We’ve got our ear to the ground so when the list of entertainment is released you’ll be the first to know. OrlandoIX is already being compared to SXSW in Austin Texas! So we can only image the EPIC line-up that’s coming to rock Orlando into a new age of techno-savy euphoria.
This five day festival will host over 200 events in and around the Downtown Orlando area with a daily attendance of 8,000-15,000 people. Rollins College recently did a study and estimated a gross income of around $34.7 Mill! Orlando just keeps getting better all the time. Tickets go on sale April 2, 2015. Grab yours and watch as the city beautiful makes history again. LIKE their Facebook page for the latest updates and ticket info. https://www.facebook.com/OrlandoiXFestival
