Call me crazy, but I truly believe the NBA lock out was the best thing that could have happened for men all around the US. There are two types of guys in this world: the ones we want to go on dates with that never ask, and the ones who constantly ask and we always say no. The Orlando magic are giving us a reason to say drink, I mean celebrate the new season this Saturday with a free sneak peak at your 2011-2012 Orlando Magic. My plan is to grab my first frothy beverage bright and early and see what these guys have in store for me, for better or worse.

It looks like the Orlando Magic will be playing the Miami Heat in a two game season opener. The NBA announced today (December 2) that the Magic will open the preseason at Miami December 18 and then host the Heat December 21.

The NBA is back!  In what seems to be a Christmas miracle of sorts, the players and   owners finally reached a tentative agreement. After many teams claimed losses in the hundred millions, the new CBA (collective bargaining agreement) gives an equal 50/50 split of profits.
