To some fans, this talk of money is unimportant. They have only one question on their minds; "When will they play?" Well Christmas day you can look forward to seeing your favorite NBA stars doing what they do best, actually playing basketball. Anticipated starting dates for the Magic are either December 26th or 27th. My source inside the Magic office tells me that a majority of the original starting dates will remain the same, however there will be changes. The best part though, there WILL be an ALL STAR game which will bring in over $60 million to the city, local business owners, etc.
Once the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed this current agreement will remain valid for 6 years. At the 6 year mark in this 10 year deal, the players and owners can opt out. I won't hold my breath. Now all we have to do is lock Dwight down somehow. Good luck Magic Front office.
