American craft breweries are making some deliciously innovative beers with just about every ingredient imaginable these days.  There are beers made with pecans, hot peppers, coffee, whiskey barrels, sweet potatoes, and even some hemp flavored beers.  Now, Terrapin Beer Company out of Athens Georgia has added a chocolate milk stout to their rotating seasonal lineup and you can find it here in Orlando!

Introducing Terrapin Brewing Company's Moo-Hoo.  The label on the beer reads ""The Terrapin 'Moo-Hoo' Chocolate Milk Stout proudly uses cocoa nibs and shells from Olive and Sinclair Chocolate Company to give this beer its chocolatey great taste!  IT'S UTTERLY DELICIOUS."  And it truly is.  If there was ever such thing as a dessert beer this would be it.  Olive and Sinclair reportedly sent 900 pounds of chocolate in September to Terrapin Beer Company to make this beer.  Holy cow !!!  Moo Hoo weighs in at 6% alcohol by volume and is a beer lover's version of chocolate milk at its finest.

We suggest getting some of this while you can as seasonal releases are only available a few months out of the year.  We have seen Moo Hoo available in bottles at Frank N' Steins and at few other spots around town but it usually doesn't last very long.  Cask ales are served from a small keg that uses no additional CO2 or Nitrogen pressure and is the best way to enjoy a beer in its purest form.  Stouts contain low levels of carbonation so Moo Hoo is the ideal beer to be served in a cask.  You can find out more about great beers in Orlando like Moo Hoo and where to find them at www.orlandobeerguide.com Cheers!
