It's easy to overlook something as big as the Orlando Calling festival when you live in Mickey Mouse town. Orlandoinians take much for granted. This weekend we are blessed to live within a short commute to a huge music festival that will feature artist like The Killers, Kid Rock,The Roots, O.A.R.,  Kid Cudi, The Pixies, and list that keeps on going (see more by visiting www.orlandocalling.com).

This music festival brings some of the nations biggest new acts and pairs them with American classics like Bob Segar and The Doobie Brothers. A few days ago they also announced the addition of The Art House, a space to get away from the festival and step into a make shfit coffee house.  I really dig local music and most of the artists being featured will be from around town. If underground hip-hop is your thing try to stop by around 4:30 on Saturday to catch local up and comer D II.

For the full music line up visit www.orlandocalling.com

Tickets are still available online www.orlandocalling.com/tickets/

They say today is the first day of the rest of your life...Not sure who "they" are but I guess the idea is what got me to start this. Whats2Hot started as a nightclub photography company and over the past two years has grown into a genuine source for information on events/concerts, new restaurants/bars reviews, and of course as Orlando's most recognized Facebook default photo provider. It's been a long road... not to long to complain but it hasn't been an easy ride. Thanks for tagging along!
