Bartenders, Now It’s Your Turn To Ring in 2017

Were you kind to your bartenders on New Years? If you enjoy your nights on the town, especially on the biggest party nights of the year, you should be ultra-thankful for what the guy and gal behind the bar, or bringing your drinks to your table, goes through on New Year’s Eve. They love to party too, but as the room counted down to midnight when 2016 became 2017, they were still hard at work. It’s fitting that while everyone goes back to their regular post-holiday lives, the bartenders of the world unite to celebrate a belated New Year’s Blast a week into the year’s first month.

Today is Bartender New Year, a way of saying thanks to those special folks for facilitating another year of thrilling nighttime adventures throughout Orlando. This year’s edition of the annual event, created by the United States Bartenders’ Guild, Inc of Orlando., is being held at The Courtesy Bar from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Tickets cost between $15 and $25, and includes unlimited cocktails from sponsors, delicious finger foods, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Since they will be celebrating New Years, wearing your best party clothing is encouraged. There will be multiple raffles with fine prizes donated by some of the leading adult beverage providers in the industry. All proceeds go toward Zebra Coalition, a nonprofit agency that benefits young people dealing with homelessness, bullying, drug abuse, and more.

Located at 114 North Orange Avenue, Courtesy is well-known throughout Orlando for having some of the finest handcrafted cocktails, craft beer, and refreshing wines. After Monday’s bartender appreciation event, you’ll likely want to explore all that Courtesy has to offer, which includes Happy Hour from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and during Sunday brunch from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Enjoy $4 punch, draft beers, premium well drinks, and featured wine. So, if you’re a bartender who missed out on the festivities nine days ago, get out to Courtesy tonight and party like its 2017.
